Platform Update — A Better Way to Explore Nexsolium
A major discovery and usability refresh across Nexsolium, with wider layouts, cleaner shelves, improved Classics and author browsing, guest reading, and a full mobile refinement pass.
Platform Update — A Better Way to Explore Nexsolium Nexsolium’s reading and discovery experience has received a major visual and usability refresh. This update focuses on giving books more room to breathe, making the growing Classics library easier to explore, improving author discovery, and creating a stronger experience across desktop and mobile. A wider, cleaner library Nexsolium now makes better use of larger screens with a wider content layout, better-balanced book sizing, and cleaner shelves throughout the platform. More books can now be seen at once without individual covers feeling oversized, putting the focus back on browsing and discovery. Recently Updated Books shown under Recently Updated now reflect genuinely recent activity. Titles updated within the past seven days are highlighted with a visible badge, while inactive books naturally leave the shelf. Timeless Shelf The Timeless Shelf has been simplified to focus on the books themselves. Classic titles now display their cover, title, and author without large descriptions taking over the shelf, creating a lighter and more natural browsing experience. A better home for Classics The Classics library has been reorganised as the collection continues to grow. Recently Uploaded highlights new additions, while From the Stacks brings different books from the wider collection into the spotlight. Classic writers also have their own author directory. Select an author to explore their books directly on the page or continue to their full profile. Original and Classic Authors Original Nexsolium authors and historical writers now have their own dedicated spaces. Original Author Spotlight focuses on writers publishing new work on Nexsolium, while Classic Author Spotlight showcases the voices behind the Classics collection. The author directory has also been refined, making it easier to switch between original and classic writers. Improved Author Spotlights Author showcases now place more emphasis on the writer and their books. Book covers are presented in layered visual stacks, while fixed layouts keep each spotlight consistent when moving between authors. Mobile navigation has also been refined, bringing author controls and View author shelf together into a cleaner experience. Read Without an Account Public books can now be opened and read without requiring an account. Simply select Start reading and begin. Accounts remain useful for saving books, reading progress, ratings, reviews, and other personal features, but registration is no longer a barrier to reading. Mobile Refinement The mobile experience has received a full refinement pass across Nexsolium’s main pages. Shelves now use space more efficiently, oversized cards have been reduced, navigation and filters have been tightened, and author spotlights now have layouts designed specifically for smaller screens. The homepage, Classics library, Authors page, profiles, and book pages should now feel much more natural on mobile. Built to Keep Growing Nexsolium’s library is growing, and the platform now has a stronger structure to grow with it. Original stories remain at the heart of Nexsolium, Classics have a clearer identity, authors are easier to explore, and there are fewer barriers between discovering a book and actually reading it. More shelves. Less clutter. Easier discovery.
