This update touches almost every page on Nexsolium. The goal was simple: make it a warmer, calmer place to find a story and keep reading it. A reader built for long sessions. Chapters now open in a quiet reading room with softer paper, sepia and night colours. A slim bar keeps your place, the chapter list and your settings within reach, and a thin line shows how far through the chapter you are. Choose from four text sizes, a book serif or a clean sans typeface, three line spacings and your preferred column width. On desktop, the left and right arrow keys move between chapters. Pick up where you left off. Come back to a chapter and the reader offers to take you straight to where you stopped. On phones, the reader reopens on the page you were on, and a new top bar shows the book and chapter you are reading, with settings one tap away. The Originals shelf. The Books page is now a real bookcase. Original stories stand spine-out on wooden shelves. Hover or tap a spine and the book turns to show its cover, with a ribbon on anything new or recently updated. Book and author pages, rebuilt. Book pages now use the whole screen: a large cover, the essentials at a glance, and the chapter list, reviews and discussion side by side with the book's details. The Authors page now puts the writers publishing here front and centre, while the classic authors hang in their own portrait hall. Profiles are cleaner too, with each author's books on a shelf and their bio alongside. Search that answers as you type. Start typing in any search bar and matching books, authors and readers appear straight away. Results are split into originals and classics, and if nothing matches, search suggests what you might have meant. Searches no longer care about capital letters, so "frankenstein" finds Frankenstein. The portal has more magic. Books in the portal library now open in your hands. The cover swings back, a sigil glows, sparks fly, and the first chapter appears on the page. Click into the library to look around freely, real cover art now fills the shelves, and the hall itself is warmer and more polished. Classics, cleaned up. Some imported classics showed garbled characters such as "fatherâs" instead of "father's". We found the cause and fixed it for every new import, and we are repairing the affected books in place. Your reading progress, comments and reviews on those books are untouched. Thank you for reading, writing and sticking with Nexsolium while it grows.
