Some things are best left unheard. James Fordight wanted nothing more than to leave music behind. Betrayed by those closest to him, rejected by a family whose name carries more weight than his own, and haunted by a performance that should have marked the end of his career, James leaves everything behind for Goldovo — a city built on talent, ambition, and the people willing to sacrifice everything for both. A strange guitar calls to him. Shadows move where none should exist. A melody follows his every step, carrying a history of ruined musicians, unexplained deaths, and one forgotten Virtuoso who once believed the impossible piece could be completed.
